The AMD Epyc 7401P is a Server processor with 24 cores, launched in 2017. It is part of the EPYC lineup, using the Zen architecture with Socket P3. The core-count is effectively doubled, to 48 threads. Epyc 7401P has 64.00MB of L3 cache and operates at 2 GHz by default, but can boost up to 3 GHz, depending on the workload. AMD is building the Epyc 7401P on a 14 nm production process. You may freely adjust the unlocked multiplier on Epyc 7401P, which simplifies overclocking greatly, as you can dial in any overclocking frequency up to 3GHz. With a TDP of 170 W, the Epyc 7401P consumes a lot of power, so good cooling is definitely needed. AMD's processor supports DDR4 memory with a dual-channel interface.
